US SCAR Office
The US SCAR Office provides a focus for US SCAR activities, a central location for information regarding SCAR, and easy access to SCAR and other Antarctic web sites. Important information, research opportunities and funding announcments will be regularly posted on this site.
On occassion your SCAR Delegates and the National Committee to SCAR (The National Academies Polar Research Board) need input from the US Antarctic science community and these requests will be posted to this web site with instructions on how to respond. All members of the US SCAR Team are your representatives and your participation and input is not only encouraged, it is needed. Contact information is provided for the US SCAR Team that may be contacted for further information about specific programs or activities. This site provides descriptions of SCAR's scientific programs and subsidiary bodies (SCAR Science).
